Neighborhood Pet Adoption Events

At Coldwell Banker Bain, we are dedicated to serving our clients as well as our communities. We also know that it’s the people we love — and the pets we love — that truly make a home. That’s why, in partnership with Ginger’s Pet Rescue and Adopt-a-Pet.com, our Bellevue Way and Madison Park offices are hosting fun dog adoption events!

Ginger’s Pet Rescue is a local non-profit organization specializing in saving death row dogs. The mission for all of Ginger’s Pet Rescue volunteers is to give homeless animals with no hope the life they deserve through rescue, foster and adoption. Relying on a large network of foster homes, and volunteer groomers and veterinarians, they have saved more than 15,000 dogs and are solely supported by adoption fees and donations. In-kind donations will be gratefully accepted at the event and during the week prior. Scroll down for a list of wants and needs!

In July, Ginger and her team will bring at least 20 dogs in their adoption truck to visit our offices – all in dire need of a loving home. Stop by and meet some new four-legged friends. Every dog deserves a forever home!

Nothing compares to the warmth and comfort of being at home. But for many dogs across America, this feeling is foreign.  According to The Humane Society, between six and eight million dogs and cats enter shelters each year. Plus, almost three million healthy shelter pets are not adopted annually, and only about 30 percent of pets in homes come from shelters or rescues.

These sobering facts are what served as the inspiration for the Coldwell Banker “Homes for Dogs Project.”  After more than 100 years of helping people find homes, the Coldwell Banker network has helped to find more than 20,000 dogs their forever homes.

Other Ways to Help

If you can’t adopt a dog, there are still ways you can help Ginger’s Pet Rescue continue their great work. We will have donation bins for new and gently used supplies in both our Bellevue Way and Madison Park offices in the weeks running up to our adoption events.
