One of the most challenging aspects of real estate is when dealing with the decisions necessary in planning for the event of illness, incapacity, or death, and all the questions and complications that can arise. With my own personal experiences in working with real estate assets and planning for the future, I will be a powerful representative in achieving the very best outcome for you and your family. This can often be an emotional or distressing time - my goal will be to help make the process less stressful, with open communication, transparency, and honesty, so you’ll feel confident in your planning decisions.

An initial meeting with either the family’s law firm or financial advisor about any legal or privacy issues, and any input on the direction most beneficial to the family

Meet with any family members for a review of the entire process, provide clear communication on next steps and options - this is also an ideal time to choose a special point of contact for regular updates on the home’s process throughout the sale

Create a clear calendar of those next steps, with assistance on scheduling and tracking to meet everyone’s expectations until the process is completed

Assist family to identify items in the home to keep or to be removed/donated/sold

Schedule for appraisals, if needed, for jewelry, artwork, antiques, or other items

Coordinate any items for auction, sale, donation, or dispersal to individuals, etc.

Arrange for a professional estate sale - public or private, depending on the circumstances

Donate items to a charity of the family’s choice, if desired

Remove any remaining items from the home, followed with a professional deep cleaning

Have home pre-inspected for any deferred maintenance or repairs that should be made

Hire licensed and bonded contractors for any needed repairs to ensure the highest possible value for your home is achievable - painting, landscape care, etc. - my personal Rolodex of reliable, trusted service providers will be at your disposal!

Professionally stage the home to once again maximize the home’s potential value

First class photography and videography services of the home will be procured

Top quality marketing of the home will go out to the neighborhood as well as an extensive network of over 1200 individuals and 200+ highly influential realtors that have clients interested in your home

Social media targeted marketing (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) will be created

A special Brokers Open House by invitation only will be scheduled

Public Open Houses will also be scheduled as long as the home is on the market

Consistent, clear communication will be maintained between the law firm and/or financial advisor and the family of all activity, showings and any interest in the home

A market update will be provided to the designated point of contact on a regular basis
